Primrose sketch
It’s far from spring here in the Midwest, but last week my supermarket had small primrose plants for $1 each. I bought one each in yellow, deep violet, and bright red, and have been eyeing their saturated hues (the red is already fading), and drawing them in pen and ink.

I love this little sketch. It reminds me of when Peter Rabbit broke into Mr. McGregor’s garden. Very nice.

Lisa I love your primrose sketch. You captured the joy of the plant. Once the primroses hit the super market you know that spring will come, not quite sure when, but it’s coming.
