Flower embroidery for sachet

My love of needlework has been asserting itself lately and I want to share an image of some embroidery I did the other day. It uses a flower motif (from the book Hungarian Folk Designs for Embroiderers and Craftsmen) which I stitched onto a sachet I made for a hostess gift. The sachet is a little bag, about 4″ x 6″, muslin on the front where the flower is embroidered, and purple print on the back. I stitched some purchased ecru crocheted lace onto the edge, filled it with dried lavendar flowers from the bulk herbs section at Whole Foods, and tied it together with narrow purple and green grosgrain ribbons.
